Ed Orgeron - 14-25 (6-22 in conference). Only 3 wins over teams with winning records.

Les Miles.

But that's beside the point. It was also over span of 11 years. If you take out the Winston years you have 5 years in which Fisher has gone 48-16 with two conference championships. So, he would have the same amount of conference championships in less than half the time as Miles.

Fisher w/o Winston = Curley w/o Favre

and we all know how that turned out. I had to live through the stench when I was at LSU in the early 90's. Please let's not repeat this mistake.

He had Tebow in 07 too, but the % is still roughly the same without that season.

Who is Orgeron's best QB. Brent Schaeffer? How would his record look without him? Interesting angle.

Dameyune Craig - Only QB in Auburn history to pass for 3,000+ yards in a season.
Rohan Davey - Only QB in LSU history to pass for over 3,000+ yards in a season. Most passing yards in any game, most completions in any game
Matt Mauck - Most completions and passing TDs in a season in LSU history. Won a National Championship
Jamarcus Russel - #1 overall pick, tied most passing TDs in a season
Matt Flynn - Won a National Championship
Christian Ponder - 1st round pick
EJ Manuel - 1st round pick
Jameis Winston #1 overall pick
Jake Coker (who couldn't beat out Winston and then went to Bama and played one year and won a NC).

Yeah, he's only as good as Winston

People are seriously retarded. Nearly every single, single-season passing record was broken while Jimbo Fisher was our Offensive Coordinator. Passing yards, Completions, TDs. And we won a NC with him. And another QB he coached won us another NC. Then throw in his success at FSU and it is undeniable.

Jimbo Fisher is a great, great QB coach. He has proven that he can recruit, develop, and have his QBs perform at a very high level time and time again.

Well if you evaluate Nick Saban and take out the national title teams, he's pretty mediocre too.

What I'm saying is stats are not the only peice in the puzzle, they differ person by person.

Since he became a head coach in 2010 there are only two more accomplished coaches: Meyer and Saban. That is it. There is no debate either. I am tired of our fans being complete fricking idiots

So evaluate Miles without his best QB, Matt Flynn. 1 Conference title in 11 years.

You're telling me that a team without it's absolute best player won't be as good as with that player?

Matt Flynn was not the best QB of the Miles era.
