Early in the process… the buzz was Woodward

Ran a tight ship and only a few people knew what was really going on. Now we’re at the stage where everyone is hearing something, knows someone, etc etc. Is there a possibility that we’re all being mislead by big dick Woody?

Sure it’s definitely possible, but if Riley is the smokescreen then that means that the real hire would be even bigger.

To counter your point, most of the leaks have been from OUs side. Which is why I give it credence. You’ve heard nothing from LSUs side.

Except rumors that recruits and former players are being told who it is, and TAF members are running around telling people it's Riley.
Oh, and let's not forget multiple people associated with LSU all of a sudden following Riley on Twitter.

Both administrations haven’t said shite if that’s what you’re insinuating. LSU people “usually in the know” have been mentioning Riley for damn near a month. Not one reputable OU site has even considered it a possibility until yesterday. Have you actually been paying attention/refreshing every 5 seconds or do you actually have a life or something?

The fact is that nobody knows anything. Nothing but speculation and hearsay. Some of the speculation has some weight behind it with good analytics of the info, but the credibility of that info is completely in question.
Really hoping for Riley, but i'm waiting until i see Woodward at the podium introducing him to us all before i get truely excited

The key is WHEN the leaks occur. With Alleva, everyone knew what he wanted to do, was going to do, was doing, and what he did do. With Woodward, the leaks began after the fact. He runs a tight ship, not giving anyone a clue what he plans on doing or what he is doing.

True, but based on the timeline of things you could draw the conclusion that those things happened AFTER Riley “accepted”.
