Second year in a row they’ve fired their OC.

It's Chan's fault Tua has Drew Brees' arm.

That's dumb. They went 10-6 and exceeded expectations IMO. You want to have continuity at OC with a rookie QB.

He came out of retirement after they fired their OC last year. He was apparently a mentor to Flores coming up, surprised they didn’t just say he is retiring to save face

His inability to adapt the offense to what Tua does best is what got him the axe.

Maybe Tua just sucks but they aren’t going to wait out Chan Gailey a few years to find out.

Perfect fit for O's next OC.

I thought the Dolphins squeezed out about as much as they could with their horrible talent they had on offense.

They have zero RBs and a young/mediocre OL. Parker was injured 2nd half of the season. Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson both opted out due to COVID right before the season started. Tua didn't have an offseason, and Flores benched Fitzpatrick while he was having a good season.

I feel like Gailey actually did a good job all things considered. Not saying they should have kept him or anything - they probably do want to leverage more of a west coast offense to match Tua's skills (if they want to keep Tua at all).

Both Flores and Fitzpatrick convinced him to come out of retirement.

It was a weird move to bring an OC out of retirement to coach a veteran QB he had a previous relationship with, only to force a rookie QB upon him early in the season.

And it had nothing to do with Chan Gailey’s play calling.

Brian Flores worked with Bill O'Brien for four years in New England. Won't be surprised if they bring him in to be their next OC.

So apparently ESPN got caught reading a fake schefter tweet and now they are saying he hasn’t been fired yet

ESPN says that Chan Gailey has not been fired and the error has been corrected and the story has been removed. ESPN said it was in no way's Schefter's fault. Schefter, in fact, hasn't reported anything on Gailey.

When allen hurns opting out hurts your receiver room that's all you need to know

Yeah, the Dolphins should traded for 5 All-Pro offensive lineman, 3 All-Pro WR's and let Tua throw a slant every other play.
