I think he has 1 more year to see if he can make something out of Mond. He was dealt a fairly shitty hand after having 2 qbs transfer on him back to back like that.

He won because of JFF and that wasn't even someone he recruited if I remember correctly; he has run off highly rated QBs; he's supposed to be an offensive coach but what have they done. I like him as a person but he is average at best.

If Woodward is a man of his word, Sumlin is gone. He flat out said that 8 wins isn't good enough.
The only way Sumlin gets to 8 wins is to somehow beat LSU in Baton Rouge and not shite the bed in the State of Mississippi.
A&M will end 6-6 unless New Mexico pulls the upset next week.

1) Mond has gotten progressively worse over this season. Realize he’s only a freshman, but Sumlin has coached almost 6 full seasons in CS now, and they’re not getting any better.
2) Those two QB’s transferred on his watch. And let’s not forget the whole Kenny Trill debacle went down the season before he mishandled Allen and Murray. So, in the end, he had three very talented QB’s leave in 14/15. He wasn’t able to get one of those three to stay on campus, so the situation he’s in now is his own fault.

He needs to be gone by day's end.
If he wants 6-8 wins every year, he should go to Vandy or Iowa State where he could do that and be coach for life.
