Do you think LSU is signaling to Tulane to back off or else?

There is an instate gentleman’s agreement that we don’t poach each other’s coaches. I do wonder if LSU is looking at Tulane like, “don’t open this can of worms, you will regret it.”

Just a thought

I think we called Gov Landry to get Tulane in line.

They wouldn’t do that to Baker.

If Baker stays, it’s because he wants to.

If they tried to block Baker from going to his alma mater, he’d just bail for Memphis who’s giving him a bigger NIL budget. This is his decision.

I guess I wouldnt think blocking it outright. More along the lines of “now is not the time”

We threatened a HUGE “free Palestine” event at their campus —- they backed down.

Im surprised people in here don’t think college football is extremely ruthless…

Or how many of you don’t realize the historical bad blood between tulane and LSU…

There’s a reason we dont play them anymore

The schools have pissed each other off numerous times over the course of cfb history

Same result. Baker has other options at HC. Memphis is offering more. He could go there if he wants to be a HC.
