I remember weeks of talking heads on ESPN talking about how great Miles has been for the school, how can he be fired so unceremoniously in 2015, only to immediately flip and start talking about how much pressure he is on for 2016 and how could LSU string him and the fans on like that only to reverse course at the last minute.
I remember Finebaum talking for weeks about how O was the perfect fit and how can you not give the guy a chance to immediately flip and go off about how irresponsible it was to give the keys to a failed HC without doing an actual search the moment he was announced.
This isn’t an ESPN hates LSU post, it’s a media are unscrupulous click whores post, and I’m sure every fanbase can point to instances where they’ve done the same to their team.
These are low IQ talking heads whose job is to generate excitement and controversy amongst even lower IQ fans and any coach considering massive amounts of money and where to move his family should do nothing but ignore them all and do what they feel is the right thing for them.
Pretty sure Kiffin knows this better than most.
