I used to hate the man, but I think he would actually be a good fit at LSU.

Why would we want the guy that aTm publicly passed on?

Yeah...being in Alabama makes it hard for me to even conjure up the image of him in purple and gold. But there is no doubt he'd be my choice over any other coach currently working in this state! If he has consistently "pwned" (is that it?) The Crappy Tide here, I think he could really do some damage with an entire state of Louisiana high school talent.

they passed because they wouldnt pay. If you wouldnt take this guy in a heart beat you're crazy. He's one of the three or four best coaches in the league and we arent gonna do any better.

Dirty, unethical and untrustworthy. Has only had 2 seasons of less than 3 losses in 9 seasons. Only 1 conference championship in 9 years. In two full seasons Miles already has two seasons of less than three losses. Auburn is not a talent poor school. Although they had a bad season the year before he was hired they were 8-4 and 10-3 the two years before that so this was not a large rebuilding program he was undertaking.
IMO he would be a downgrade from Les.

LSU's talent >>> Auburn's
and he's CERTAINLY a better game day coach than Miles.

I know I am in the minority around here when I say I think most other coaches will be. Les is a great fit for LSU, the only thing in the way just reared it's ugly head last week....

why? because he's a nice guy? because he's homely? his aww shucks thing is wearing thin on alot of people. It will only carry him so far. He needs to put up or shut up really quick.

Tubby crap isn't going to kill you. You will probably die from cancer or heart disease.

The difference is not so great that an average coach will be able to beat a great coach every time. Miles is now 2-1 against TT. Each of the three games was close.
As for TT being a better gameday coach many would disagree, including the AU boosters who got on a plane to Louisville a few years ago. Miles has done a great job as a gameday coach this year. Two games got away, and if you look at the injury report from the Arky game on defense you can see that we were 60% at best, a tough way to play McFadden and Jones.
LSU fans tend to always think that their coach is worse than everyone else's, sort of like the backup QB being the most popular man in town. We need to realize that we have one of the best coaches in the business and enjoy the success. Yes, 10-2 and a spot in the SECCG is success.

Tubbs is already the king of Alabama, now he needs to come be the king of LA. He is my first choice.

No, because regardless of what everyone else has against him, and a really bad starting environment (not talent, that WAS there, but the whole environment has been a bitch since he showed up)-- he still has the best winning % in his first three years than anyone else here in recent memory. He has been WINNING! That wasn't some guarantee in his contract, he does get credit for all the wins, whether they were done in your prefered fashion, formation, or order on the schedule. Some people want to act like this team was assuredly undefeated when Les took over, and he is just responsible for the losses. I am just not that positive that someone else can just step in and do as well.

yeah he has the best winning percentage in 3 years, but he also has BY FAR the most talent of a coach in his first 3 years.
