And for the record, I don't think he's going to have to put-up or shut-up. I think he's just going to pack-it-up! I don't like it, but it doesn't mean I don't still like the man.

IMO championships overrule the winning %. Saban, say what you want about him, already had an SEC title 3 years in. If Les loses this wknd I don't know how people can continue to think he is the right fit.

does anyone else feel like Les Miles is the football equal of George Bush? Given the keys to a powerful dynasty, sounds like a dop when he speaks, laughing stock of his peers...

but he also has BY FAR the most talent of a coach in his first 3 years.
Yeah, I know, but someone had to get all that talent ready and going through an new coaching adjustment time, hurricanes, doubtful fans, and all the other "typical" distractions and crap associated with dealing with a group of college aged athletes...he did a good job. Why can't you at least give him credit for what he DID, and not focus on whatever zits you seem intent on picking?

And? He has made good use of his talent. He wins games. He recruits well. He has won two SEC West championships in three years. We are 1 game from an SEC Championship despite a pretty serious injury list.
When in the name of Curley Hallman did 10 win seasons, SEC West championships and Sugar Bowl wins become a bad thing?

Because some us believe that if we keep winning 11-12 games a year we will win our share of championships. 11-12 games a year. Are people seriously complaining about this? We need to fill up Tiger Stadium and invite a shrink in.

its not bad, but i just dont think he is the guy to bring us back to the top of the mountain of dominance.

It became bad when LSU had the best team in America. The schedule, talent, and weaknesses of our rivals all set up perfectly for this year. Last year I let Les have some slack because we had to tough road slate. Hell I let the UK loss go too, because go undefeated is nearly impossible nowadays. But that Ark. loss is unexcusable IMO. We should have been much more prepared to play that game.

How soon we forget! King Saban is getting grilled over here for the crap he says to the press, and he looks like twice the dope LM does, with all his swaying back and forth ( he seriously looks like he could use some Ritalin) and "aight" babbling... be careful what you wish for. Who's to say we don't end up with the next guy who's "FORTY!!"

Damn! What mountain are you on there? We've got history, I won't fight with you there, but this seems a little...well......
Delusional?

Sorry, didn't mean to step on your man crush, there..
I threw out my collection of Nick Saban quotes when he pissed on my Christmas...

You realize during Miles' tenure this has been the most dominant LSU has been ever?

I think he's done well with the athletes he's had. Is he a great recruiter? I don't know.
I think he's shown interest in the job before. I know I've heard him speak on talk shows and at SEC Media days about how jealous he is of LSU and the athletes we get and that we're the big in our state.
Who knows...

I would think the lure of WalMart money would too much for Tubby to pass up.
He is an arkansas boy, i think he lands with the pigs.

if its between us and Arky we got it in the bag.

Maybe..he may just end up staying at AU.
I wonder if A&M was afraid of his buyout, or he said no thanks because he wants to stay at Auburn, or because he may have interest in the LSU and/or Arkansas job.

I do.
I was reading a post by one of the admins on UM's Rivals premium board and he was saying basically he doesn't seen Bill Martin going against the "huge groundswell" of support for Miles.
He's gone.
