If is is him, I like it. A little unorthodox but probably not a long term hire. Chief left us in a lurch hanging around so he wouldn't have to pay the leave early penalty. LeBeau could be a good mentor while we start thinking about developing the next, next DC. I am fired up....great story

Yup.. I'd happily take him until he retires

He went to Ohio State, Les wouldn't hire him.

I'm speechless that this thread still exists.

I once made fun of Tennessee fans for their Chuckie pipe dream. We are much much worse.

BTW, coaching changes board proves to be yet again the most fun board of the year!

I'm pretty sure, or at least hope, that most don't think there's a legit chance of him coming here, but are just having fun with it.

Though a lot of older people do move south for retirement.

It's not happening, but are there people seriously saying that this would be a bad hire? FFS

Dick more less said he was coming here. Aka I am not retiring. I doubt he wants to take on a HC gig. NFL teams think he is too old.

it's a done deal imho

Yeah I'm pretty sure 90% of these people are joking, but LeBeau may be one of the biggest hires in the history of college football. I'd be thrilled to have him coaching the defense.
