because he is bored and thinks he knows how to coach, but i think that is something only he thinks he can do. he was so self absorbed and selfish as a player i find it hard to believe he can be a leader of a team and maintain respect from his team

still his name recognition will get him a shot somewhere if he is serious, who knows, maybe he can be a good coach.

I honestly think given the right situation he could have success. If he followed coach o and let his assistants call the shot he could turn around a program

I think it would be a disaster of epic proportions but I’m all for it.

Maybe he is in need of money?

Do you think coaches aren’t self absorbed and selfish?

Probably needs the attention. Didn’t you see how he’s been making it a point to talk about the HOF as soon as Eli retired. He’s an attention whore. I doubt he would be a good coach by the way.

The 11am and 2:30 pm kickoff time slots could be tricky.

Far more likely to be a disaster I agree. But if you put the right mentors around him and help him hire the right coaches he’s the spark that a falling program could use

It would be a disaster and no one is going to hire him anyway. I think he coached some at the high school level.

I’d be willing to bet money he gets hired in the next 3 years

As a recruiting coach with a fake position title, sure. As a head coach? Absolutely not.

They pretty much shut down his school because it was a diploma mill.

They also owed money in back taxes to the IRS. It was a complete disaster.

I wouldn’t trust Deion to even be a recruiter in a Trooper Taylor role.

Can you imagine a Head Coach trying to control a team and Coach Sanders having his own press conference vs the Head coach

Wasn’t deon in hot water for a school he started and essentially they were mishandling money and it closed? I thought I read something like this?

He said it was a calling for him to coach. I wonder if it was anything like when he said it was a calling for him to be a preacher.

This really needs to happen just for the spectacle of it.

I think his best chance is a school with nothing to lose, looking for a gimmick. Something like Louisville, or more likely central Florida, FAU, etc.

In Deion's entire professional career, he made $35 million in NFL contracts.

Coaches are getting that in 5 years these days.
