Besides a really good record at Washington, in a weak conf, his experience and prior stops is meh. He wouldn’t fit in at Bama imo.

Do tell.

I just did. He has no SEC ties. Lanning did.

I really think it's Norvell. We shall see. These searches are so fun.

There is no way to predict the success of any coach.

Well he'll have the perfect chance to show his worth with Will Rogers leading his offense next season and without Odunze and Polk catching passes

Hopefully both Norvell and deboer turn Bama down

I could see it... for some reason it just seems like Lanning doesn't want to be the one to have to follow Saban, especially with what's he's building at Oregon... he's somewhat comfortable and the expectations are less there

IMO, both Sark and Kiffin FOR SURE don't want that smoke...

DeBoer, and up and coming coach in his own right, doesn't seem like he's the type to back down from a challenge... i could easily see him taking it, if offered

Mintzy from barstool said he heard Seattle is about to put a news story out that DaBoer is staying.

Kiffin alarm sounding.

Yes. But that aside, I think he's a great coach.

I also think it's ridiculous that people think coaches at developmental programs can't elevate their recruiting at an elite program. It happens all the time.

Washington has never been an elite recruiting program.

Pete Carroll needs one more year to be college football HOF eligible. Wouldn't even need to move.

Norvell would be a good hire. I just don't see him leaving since he would probably make the 12 team playoffs most years with FSU in that conference.

Sark is not leaving Texas to jump into the fire at Bama where he will be expected to win now.
He is loved at UT and got them to the playoffs and UT has all the money he needs to get players and coaches.

Sark is setting up his own path at UT and has established the school as a contender and has a massive state to recruit in. No way in the world would he want to follow Saban at Bama.
He might use it to get another contract though.
