AD Greg Byrne has had his eye on him for a while.

quote:

Two sources confirmed to me late this afternoon, that Bama athletic director Greg Byrne, knowing that Nick Saban retiring was always a possibility, has had his eyes on Kalen DeBoer for some time. Byrne is highly respected.

Hopefully every single coach turns them down and they have to get Matt House

I don’t see why Sark would leave Texas. I could see it being DeBoer or Norvell.

He will be hard to get with his daughter on the softball team or volleyball team at UW. He would be a good get though

I think it’s going to be one of those too. Sark should be their top choice tho. But no fricking way he leaves that cash cow

Any mentions of his name is to get more money from Texas

i mean the guy wins, but has no ties to the south and doesn't seem like much of a recruiter

It has to be DeBoer. Big oof if they swing and miss on him.

I wonder if Drink is under consideration.....

DeBoer would be a great hire for Bama. I kinda hope it’s not him but he’s one of the best and better than Lanning. IMO

Four years of head coach experience at Fresno and UW, zero ties to the South. Seems like a great fit.

Did you guys forget who we hired?

Not saying DeBoer is the guy at all, but fit doesn’t mean shite. He’ll pop in and Bama will continue to recruit just like lsu did
