The only thing I don’t agree with is that this is the staff that will evaluate the portal guys for next year and they’ve been very hit/miss. I’d want the DC here asap so they can hit the portal hard for guys that fit their scheme.

If recruiting is that big a deal, he shoulda been out yesterday. Get a splashy (or hell competent) hire and maybe get a late flip and/ or work the portal better than you could with House.

Why is this so unbelievable? LSU did the EXACT SAME THING with Matt Canada. Everyone knew throughout the season there was friction between he and O. Everyone assumed he would be let go immediately following the season. Everyone here panicked when he wasn't. Canada coached the bowl game...then parted ways 4 days later.

Coaches don’t fire staff to make statements to fans. It hard to believe how simple some of you are.

When a move is this obvious, it needs to be made sooner rather than later. In early January most of the coaching movement has already happened. Unless the guy is in the playoffs.
