Wisconsin is like us but cheaper. Doubt they’ll rock the boat as long as they’re winning 8-9 games.

ed Won’t have a terribly hard time getting a coach here who could have all this talent on d in the 30s on defense like aranda. Heck we may even end up with a coach with more recuriting prowess than Dave and get a roster upgrade too.

Also assuming that we will pay 2 mil for another DC is a leap. O is going to have to start doing better than 9 wins to keep that backing in the AD

You seriously think Venables would leave his situation for this one? Same for Grantham, Lupoi or Elko? Those moves would make no sense for them.
It’ll be someone with ties to Orgeron, so you can eliminate anyone that doesn’t satisfy that criterion.

Aranda makes $500k more than Venables, $700k more than Elko and $800k more than Grantham. Yeah. That's absolutely what're you start. Venables and Grantham are obviously long shots, but Elko has shown that he's willing to go to the highest bidder.

CEO isn't respected and most don't think he will be here long term, that is a major factor! Do you stay where you are making your Millions or make a lateral move to a situation that may have you looking again in 2 years? Considering that DA makes 1.8MM and most of the Top DC already make 1.1-1.6 MM. It's not about the highest bidder for a lot of these guys!
