From Ian Rapoport Live: #Bama offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is on several candidates‘ lists for an OC job. A return could be coming.

I actual do hope he hires Canada and wins another because I don’t even care about Alabama’s success any more and would love to see Canada tear it up after O fired him.

They are very close friends that share a lake house near each other and Hugh had Saban's number. Saban is also known to give coaches with PR issues a second chance.

I would almost call this "likely".

He’d probably hire baby Briles.

I think Saban has made it clear that his coordinators are largely irrelevant.

Makes sense he'd go back to New England if McDaniels takes a job.

Or he could take a job at the place McDaniels/Patricia ends up

Tua in Freezes offense would be sick. Please don't let this happen

That us all true but Freeze's scheme would drive Saban crazy. Too reliant on the passing game and doesn't incorporate a power running game. Kiffin drove Saban crazy with his tendency to forget about the run. I just don't think they'd be a good fit

Mike Locksley. If Daboll leaves, Locks probably gets full title. If Daboll stays, Locks may be in the running for OC at Florida State.

This is probably just being put out there by Daboll’s agent to get a pay raise.

A Daboll led offense never performed above bottom tier in the NFL. Why would potential suitors suddenly think they can expect different results with a year of college experience under his belt?
