Because he can’t turn down a stable situation like LSU in a world class city like Baton Rouge Louisiana

1. Louisiana recruiting.
2. Better chance of winning national titles.

On top of that, he would rather be at LSU than A&M. He's wanted the HC job at LSU for the past 15 years.

LSU has had 3 different head coaches win National Championships in the last 20 years and played for another one. Aggie could play football for the next 100 years and wouldn’t win a single one. You Aggie’s love to talk about money and resources etc but where has it gotten you? Nowhere. LSU is by far the better job and program and it isn’t even close. It is basically impossible to win a National Championship at A&M. Wouldn’t be shocked if Jimbo won a National Championship in his first 3 years if he takes LSU job.

LSU: three nc’s with three consecutive head coaches. About as stable as it gets

A&M: was unable to win the SEC West in their best season since 1939. Yikes.

And it's widely known that Jumbo loves LSU and Baton Rouge. His opinion on that is the only one that matters.

I doubt Jimbo would leave A&M unless he just wanted to work for Woodward for some reason.

TAMU hasn't won an NC in more than 80 years. Eighty. Eight. Zero.

And they won't ever win one playing in the SEC.

A defensive line coach won a natty 2 years ago
A bad offensive coordinator won a natty and made it to another natty game before that.
Jimbo is a good offensive coordinator.

I’ll let you figure it out

National Championships. Something A&M obviously can’t obtain.

Better recruits per capita. Better money if you factor in living costs. Even Saban says leaving LSU is his biggest regret. That means the king himself realizes what he could have built at LSU. It could have been Alabama on steroids. Zero in state competition for recruits in the state that produces the most per capita NFL players. It’s a no brainer.

Not a university full of this

I'd imagine that might be enough for some. Maybe Jimbo is tired of being hit on by all the fAggies out there.

What someone can pay and what they will pay are two different things. In this instance we may be willing to pay more than you

Not more money,

Culture, Recruiting advantage, winning heritage, higher program ceiling because of these things.Plus we still have the money.

You tell me what Aggie has that LSU doesn’t? With that said Jimbo isn’t my #1 choice although he is a good coach IMO.
