Pretty much everything that has come out of Jimmy Sexton's mouth and his propaganda PR machine in hopes of getting multimillion dollar raises for all of his clients.

Favorite rumor was that Tom Herman was headed to SC in 2015, but reneged on the agreement when SC lost to The Citadel that year. Lots of "insiders" swore this was happening, only to fall apart at the last minute.
Another rumor, that was ultimately confirmed by Mrs Smart, was that SC and Kirby were negotiating a contract (as in, SC reps were in Smart's house ironing out details) when UGA fired Richt.

Looks like it worked out well for both sides. We got the guy who wanted to drag his nuts all over the sec and he’s doing it in year 1
According to this board, he was a lock for LSU. If he was coming to LSU, where was the fear of the SEC. As soon as he went to USC, the narrative became that he left OU because he didn't want to coach in the SEC.

Well apparently he was never a candidate for the LSU job bc he was in fact not interested in coaching in the sec. He and Kelly have the same agent. LSU was advised that Kelly was a man and Riley was a pussy.
The rest is history.
That’s what we now know. Just bc the board throws out rumors doesn’t make them true. When the dust settled we had facts and evidence that lead us to reasonable conclusions

Woodward was asked about this on the SEC game day show.
He said he was just as surprised to hear this as everyone else because he was not in negotiations with Riley nor had offered him the job.
I believe he alluded that LSU had gaged Riley’s interest but it never got beyond that.

It was reported that he didn't want to be at Oklahoma when they went to the sec.
So him not wanting to go to lsu makes sense also

It was done, but then we beat aTm and Miles was carried off the field. The deal died right before that game. Miles “changed” the offense over the offseason and laid a dud against Wisconsin at Lambeau. Bring in Ed O a few games later.

I remember when the Saban to Texas rumor was going around it was for 10 million a year and i thought that's absurd no way. Oh how college football has changed lol

Yea I’m not sure why it’s so hard for some to follow the logic.
It weird nobody seems to want to engage in discussing Brian Kelly not being a fit at LSU anymore.
It’s hard to respect posters who just talk crazy shite then disappear when proven wrong. At least come back and discuss the subject. But I guess so many on these message boards are just cowards in real life
