Craziest SEC coaching rumors over the years

I was inspired by the Dabo to Auburn talk. What comes to mind that tops that to you guys. Best I got off the top of my head:

Some of those rumors are started by the HC agent to generate raises.
It’s not always fans drumming up a far fetched thing. Dabo to Auburn is not going to happen but I can see Dabo and agent taking advantage.

A news station in Arkansas interrupted regularly scheduled programming to announce that Tommy Tubberville was leaving Auburn for Arkansas

Which conference offers an easier path to the playoffs every year? Sec or pac20 or whatever it is now ?
Looks like it worked out well for both sides. We got the guy who wanted to drag his nuts all over the sec and he’s doing it in year 1

2 years in a row Dabo linked to sec west jobs. Yea I’d say it’s a leverage move but after the year they’re having he better be careful. They might help him pack

It got out on Hogville that Jon Gruden was at Powerhouse (restaurant/bar) just off Dickson St and fans were driving up there to see if he was.
