He interviewed Deion Sanders. That should have already told you it was going to be a shite hire!

But they didn't interview Deion. They just leaked it to the media that they were interested. It was complete bullshite to keep the Cowboys in the news cycle.

I’m not even gonna lie I think Deion would’ve been better. Not because I think he would’ve won more games necessarily (although Im not sure I think he wouldn’t have either) but at least it would’ve created some buzz. This does absolutely nothing.

Yet we will still see Dallas in every prime time or Sunday 3:25 slot until they can start flexing games out of mercy.

Kellen Moore might've said no.

I don't think anyone with options wants to work for Jerry Jones.

A buzz? What the hell does that do for an organization that is already one of the most valuable in the world? They aren't recruiting kids out of high school that commit to a school for the "buzz".

Agreed. He was, no doubt, a really, really bad HC.

Eh by age 51 you’re processed from the high ranks if nepo’s a big factor. It’s been 20 years since he coached with his dad, he hasn’t gotten jobs since because he’s Marty’s kid

I’m just trying to figure out how a 4x OC with only a handful of great seasons and no HC experience gets the keys to the Cowboys. I mean, we know how because we know the hiring manager, but it’s just silly

im in Dallas and it's amazing how unpopular this is. Every radio station is saying worst hire in DFW history.

A TV station listed 10 candidates on their website and 200lk people voted and Shott was last with 1%.

This will probably be the last hire Jerry makes in his life, and THIS is who he goes with? Not one other team wanted to talk to Shott about a job. What a shite show.

I agree, I figured they would hire Moore as well.

They did mention Kingsbury after Washington losses. I’m hoping that’s the case

Jerry's clown show continues. 1995 is a long time in the rear view mirror. As long as Jerry owns the team...he will never have a real GM or Coach.
