Anyone else consider the Kiffin thing pure laziness/short sighted on the part of O?
people, especially promie, are gonna think it's stupid, but it's not all that far fetched to believe that O's binder/plans consisted of assuming that Kiffin was in the bag already. alleva/admins vet it out with the agents and get positive feedback and they roll with that plan.

the only thing that could have stood in the way of this coming to fruition was a head coaching job, which is looking likely at the moment.

Kiffin to USF to backfill Taggert.....The University proactively put out a message that Kiffin would be there #1 target if Willie were to leave...he is leaving for Oregon.

So you are saying we score two offensive touchdowns?

In that case, we beat Wisconsin, Auburn, Florida, and Bama this year an are undefeated in the playoffs.......

I was told his attainability chances are relatively low

bama 247 boards were saying some pretty harsh things about him yesterday.

And Kevin Wilson needs to be hired in a consultancy role. Period. Should be done at the same time that we hire an OC.

I was trying to figure out who our Sark/OC in waiting would be...but if Briles is toxic, don't you think Wilson is too?

Honestly, I think LSU wouldn't even hire him right now. Maybe as a position coach or offensive analyst. He's not doing too good.

not in a consultancy role. WIlson is a no name compared to the bad publicity that Briles had. At least in my opinion.

It wouldn't even hit the ESPN radar with his hire. Plus he won't be a hands on coach, just consulting.

If other things come out over the next few months you just tell him to move on. He won't have a contract like a field coach would.

Yeah Helfrich would great! Going for two after the first touchdown, and not getting it. Going for two after the second touchdown, and not getting it. Now we're missing 2 points and lose by 1. Awesome!

Because we would definitely be hiring him as a head coach...

I think this is very likely.

It also is why I think we are a clusterf*ck. If true... if this was really Alleva's process for legitimizing #BinderBebe as his choice, then he is an utterly useless and pathetic AD. Like I said, I basically sum up Alleva on any tough task as Lazy-Arrogant. A very bad combination in a leader.

From my recollection, I think Random was the first in this last week to mention Helfrich as even on the list, much less pretty high on the list. So, he came out with that before Culotta was fed it from Fat Goebbels.
