the rape scandal that didn’t happen? My God y’all will go to great lengths to try to accept a Briles.

Well, one Board member owns a sausage company and another owns a coffee shop franchise and is a Tulane Alum. I’ve never known a Tulane Alum that wished anything but destruction of the LSU Football Program, but I guess we’re just supposed to trust that these guys know what’s best for the Football program.

Even if he couldn't get Briles or Freeze, there's more than 2 good offensive coordinators in the country. He shouldn't try for 2 guys with baggage and then default to his TE coach when he can't get those guys approved.

Alleva was involved heavily in the Duke scandal, which turned out to be total B/S and false accusations. His claim to fame is that the first thing he did was get rid of the Lacrosse coach and disband the team, thus virtually ruining the lives and reputations of the coach and many young men. This was done in a kneejerk reaction to charges that were later proved false after the investigation. It was the quick, easy, and cheap way out in order to divert the heat from his own sorry arse. He showed no support for the coach and team depending on him. That seems to be his legacy. Somehow, LSU hired the POS. His actions at LSU strengthen his reputation.

the first criteria for getting a new OC would be someone who is CEO's first or second choice?

Their first criteria would be someone who talks like us, yaw yaw yaw, thinks like us, and is one of us.

I've heard Orgeron has wanted Ensminger all along and has only floated names he knew wouldn't get approved.

Current Governor has the power to remove m meets of the Board of Supervisors. At least appoint members who like LSU. Maybe start with LSU graduates?

Coach O's hands are tied

That's a start , now tie cookie monsters feet up also and carry his big arse to the airport to put him on a plane heading far away from here!

Step two:
Give the head coaching position to Dave Aranda and let him hire an Offensive Coordinator who actually can score points against Bama and knows how to develop a quarterback!

But saw where O wanted Briles and Freeze and was shot down both times.

Neither of those guys should be allowed near this program.

Actually his 1st choice on record stated in November is Steve Esminger. Starting to wonder if "the search" was a ruse

Not much doubt. Laughable that the only two options being discussed are the ones with baggage and then posts like this come out about how poor ole O just can’t catch a break. Transparent as hell.
