Coach O made LSU football fun again

Regardless of how you feel about the hire, you can't take away that Orgeron saved LSU football this year and made it watchable and fun. The two losses were dissapointing, but the wins were free from bone-headed mistakes and horrible clock management.
Les Miles may have been the winningest coach in LSU history, but he was a horrific game manager and a stubborn coach from the Jurassic era of football.
Miles won over the fans and won over the boosters. If he hires a great OC, then the recruits will come.
His head coaching gig with Ole Miss was almost 10 years ago. It's time we stopped judging him by that alone and start looking at who he is now.

Winning made LSU football fun again. Not playing football like it was the stone age made football fun again. O was just lucky Miles was such a fricking retard.

Yep. Florida State has tracking technology on their jerseys so Jimbo can scientifically measure how hard players are practicing. Saban is utilizing all sorts of crazy new technology to help players develop.
For all we know, some of those binder pages were on O's opinions of what LSU can do to get better as a program.
IDK, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised by what we see out of O. I doubt it, but I have nothing but hope at this point.
