Applewhite is not a personality fit with the football coach at LSU.

Martin makes sense as they have USC ties.

Don't think the Op knows what he is talking about. I thought it was common knowledge that applewhite hated LSU

Man y’all are melting over nothing. Tee Martin as a WR coach would be a very solid if not great hire. Applewhite as co-OC maybe not the best hire in the history of the world but not a disaster by any stretch.

Agree with this.

His recruiting resume is incredible and he's coached some notable names into the NFL. He is an upgrade in every sense of the word over Sullivan.

It would be great if he could get them to just catch the ball every once in a while.

Because it's a pretty good opinion. At the very least he would be an elite recruiter.

I bet Applewhite would give anything (testicles) to beat Sabin.

He coached a Biletnikoff winner and multiple current NFL wide receivers. The entire time he was the WR coach, USC consistently had one of the best wide receiver groups in the country.

He is not a good coordinator, but it's also hard to tell how much of that was due to Clay Helton being a truly horrendous coach in every aspect.

I didnt realize that the Applewhites were kicked out of Nova Scotia and eat roadkill. Sounds Scottish to me?

We just better hope that if we hire Applewhite that there aren't any frumpy, mostly unattractive female athletic trainers running around the program.

I don’t understand the love that Tee Martin gets as a coach.

Yes you do. We both know exactly what he gets the love that better coaches don’t get.
