I'll take T but no on applewhite

They both are below average coaches.
I don’t understand the love that Tee Martin gets as a coach. He has done nothing to earn it imo.

Tee will be a good WR coach and great recruiter/ helps on the west coast and Tennessee etc...
applewhite could possibly help with the new type offense

So right up Ed O’s alley then?

I can see Sullivan being replaced, but who else is out.

The two best LSU coaches on staff were not hired by O

He's recruited and developed a large number of NFL WRs.

As an OC Martin is below average but he is very good at coaching WR.
Now applewhite is very underwhelming.

Heard Martin not Applewhite

Do not want any part of Applewhite.

So is MA being brought up just bc he's fired? I haven't seen anything that indicates LSU has interest.

Yeah only reason. Haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.

Mutual interest with Martin

I can see Martin as a WR coach. Keep Slinger don't want to see Joe with 2 OC's in 2 years.

And where are you hearing this?

You could do worse with both of these guys. Applewhite isn’t a bad offensive coach. I’d take him over Ensminger. He’s had some good offenses as a co-coordinator at Texas and his one year at Alabama wasn’t awful. I think he could develop a qb.
T would be a great recruiting push and he’s serviceable at minimum as a position coach.
