Chris Petersen seems so obvious but not talked about much.

If he was a serious option why has it taken so long? He's not coaching right now.

If it was CP, it would have been announced…no reason to wait until after the season.

He chose to quit coaching. He wasn’t fired or let go. HE was tired of coaching and wants to enjoy family and life. It’s really not that complicated.

Because he doesn't want the job, or Woodward doesn't want to give him the job.

Otherwise it would make no sense to hold off on the hiring.

If it does end up being him, only thing I can think is respect for the current team and season.

I have to think Woodward would hire him over a less proven option if he wanted to get back into coaching.

I've thought Petersen makes the most sense from the beginning, and would LOVE to have him. He's pretty damn close to white whale category

Here's hoping

It has been discussed many times how he resigned from Washington because he was burned out.

I'm sure Woody gave him a call, but if he really wanted to come back and take this pressure cooker, he would've been hired already.

Probably has. Just hasn’t been announced.
