Because Aranda has always had fan support and helped win a National title. It’s also a name fans know so they latch onto it.
FWIW: I would be fine with Aranda but he’s further down the list than a lot of guys I prefer, mostly due to his lack of track record as an actual HC

Franklin for sure. His resume is head and shoulders above the other two. Second choice would be Aranda.

No it wasn't, we need both coordinators with Orgeron.
And Aranda is hyper organized and very intelligent. He would pick a solid OC and the program would be very buttoned up. We'd be disciplined and well-coached on both sides of the ball regardless of offensive scheme.

Aranda for sure. He’ll bring a great staff too. I don’t think most fans really know just how well respected and highly thought of Aranda is by his fellow coaches.
