Charlie Strong press conference on ESPN *UPDATED WITH CLIFFS*

Cliffs:
Had a team meeting yesterday, said don't worry about me. We're going to play this game this week. Playing for players. Spoke with AD, he's been told he will be evaluated after TCU game. Said he wants to be back. Talking about Mack Brown
Says program is on solid foundation. ESPN cut to finebaum. Fbaum is tearing into Texas.
It's pretty amazing. This could be very similar to the LSU situation last year. We'll see. The media will crucify Texas this week.

I like Charlie so much. It's just a shame he wasn't a better coach at Texas. Way too many dumb mistakes for a guy who makes $5M as a head coach of a CFB team.

Charlie also brought up player mistakes during the Kansas game. This was like watching a Crucifixion of Charlie.

Wow. Almost the entire team is watching Charlie at the press conference. I think Texas is a 10-win team next year, regardless of who their coach is. But it's tough to bring back the guy who is one of the worst coaches I've ever seen at clock management.
