Candidates for Vanderbilt if Mason gets canned

When (hopefully) Mason gets canned, these are my top candidates for the Vandy Job
1) Bill Clark, current UAB head coach.
He has done wonders for the UAB football program after it got shut down. Vandy looks for character when hiring, and he's got great character
2) Willie Fritz, current Tulane head coach.
He's had success everywhere he's coached.
3) Billy Napier, current ULL head coach
He's only this low on my list because I don't think he'd leave for Vandy
4) Josh Gattis, OC Michigan
He's coached at Vandy before. But it's unlikely he'd leave Michigan after just one year.
5) Bob Shoop, DC Mississippi State
Has coached at Vandy before. Has also been a head coach already (without much success however)

Bill Clark would be a great fit for Vandy (please don't hire him). For that matter, he'd be a good choice for Arky, MSU, or Ole Miss, too.

He’s all about upward mobility. He would leave yesterday if someone was interested.

Chad Morris
Did wonders at Clemson, helped build SMU into a power, laid the foundation for Arkansas winning the sec by 2021.
PS
It would be helpful for an offset in his Arkansas buyout
Or what is Paul Johnson doing

I've also heard Jeff Fisher

He would be extremely confused when he found out you can't go 8-8 in college football

Aranda wouldn’t be a bad fit at Vanderbilt. If he wants NFL, Mason probably has a great shot at the NFL even if fired. So, it’s a win-win.
Larry Fedora wouldn’t be a bad hire. Had some good years at USM and UNC. If they go reaction against defensive head coach.

You don’t want Napier. Keep looking.

Willie Fritz, current Tulane head coach.
No offense but I think he can do better. Obviously I don't want him to leave, but I have accepted that he is most likely gone when the right opportunity arises. Also Tulane has been sucking lately so I think the Willie Fritz hype has cooled off a lot.

That pic is like bizarro world. Bama unranked and Arkansas #16.

Mark Dantonio, assuming his days at Michigan State are over as has been rumored.

I, for one, do not want Bill Clark in the SEC at a school that isn’t mine. He is a star.

Seems that way if you're under 30, which I'm assuming you are

That would be a horrendous hire. Dantonio best days are past him
