We know so little to be fact.
If it comes out he flubbed the hire then it’s wide open. But for now let it run its course.

we ( especially you) dont know chit. And who says he didnt vet him and reach out? Maybe he didnt like what he heard especially if alot of the info coming out now is Riley wasnt happy about joining the SEC and didnt want to deal with that. He wanted and easier path to CFP. Do we want a coach like that??? Jeebus there are some people on here that I wonder if they have to remember to breathe.

I think there is sufficient information to properly judge him already. His two football hires at other schools are not all that impressive. Pederson and Jimbo both 2nd tier coaches with 2nd tier results. The baseball hire at LSU was his 4th choice. Everyone knows the choice was O'Sullivan and he botched it. Mulkey, he offered more money and she is from Louisiana. Nothing impressive there. I don't see legitimate skins on the wall from him, just hype.

Woodward has never hired Doug Pederson as a HC. He hired Chris Petersen at UW and Petersen took UW to the CFP before retiring.
The Jimbo hire at the time was a clear home run and anyone who wants to argue that it wasn’t, is quite frankly, a moron.
