LSU now has the 5* WR, they are signing the Running backs, had some attrition and suspensions on the OL but this class should help. The impact players as freshmen are the exception not the rule.

Nah. Your answer is just a cop out.

So you say Les didn’t recruit offensive talent? Guice? Fournette? Chark? Weathersby? None of them have NFL talent? Oh but I guess it was only 2 years after he was gone that Les left us with no talent on offense....

They can afford $1.5M, at least, for an elite OC.

So you're arguing that the offense was great this year. Where were the seniors along the offensive line.

Decrease Aranda down to 1.8m. Defense was above average at best. Nothing spectacular.

This I don't doubt. Understanding how to win championships, however, I think he's clueless.

As of now E is not going anywhere. That does bot mean another “Co-OC” will not be brought on.

So 9-3 again next year.

Can't wait

You're saying they aren't talented enough to be successful at LSU and wont be in NFL, that's why the offense struggled?

Are you suggesting that this is an unacceptable position to hold on this forum?

That doesnt discount a point that is right though. Our OL is one of the worst we've had in a long long time and ill be shocked if any of the starters from last season see any type of sustained NFL success.

It was doomed from the start when the OP called for inside information from an alter troll.

No said it couldn't be made. But you better back that claim up

Sure, but that doesn't mean those players don't have nfl talent.

Talent wasn't the problem. No one is saying there are cam Robinsons or Whitworths on the line, but there are plenty with NFL talent. Just bc it was a bad year with injuries and different line up doesn't take away from their individual talent. Plenty of Olineman come from far worse schools and oline play.

sustained NFL success.

Lol thats a lot different than saying no nfl talent or potential.

Huh? you act as if the rule is that you have more of an obligation to back up a criticism than a compliment. Thats bullshite.

Nope, if you want to call out bad online play, be my guest. Suffered from suspensions and multiple injuries so it was a constant patch work.

To suggest the bad online play was bc of no potential nfl talent is....bullshite.

Most people need to realize this team was picked to win 5 or 6 wins. This was not the most talented LSU lineup top to bottom. We had a QB with no starts and was on campus for 3 months. We had no running backs, and a banged up offensive line.

We should have won 11 games this year. We lost 1 because of talent, 1 because of coaching, and 1 because of refs. Why would you blow up a staff that was picked to win 5 games and ended up winning 9 and making a New Years 6 bowl likely.

Relax people. There will be changes made but we are in a better position than people think. Improvement needs to be quicker, much quicker. Next year has always been my decision year. 9-3 will not cut it for me next year.
