is saying "he has on good authority no changes before the bowl game"

Not putting much stock in Buddy's sources, but really disappointing if true

yeah that pretty shitty but definitely Miles' style. Peveto getting an undeserved bowl bonus is definitely more important than the future of the program.

I see absolutely no advantage to leaving some of these worthless fricks on through the bow game

what have they done to deserve this year's bonus? Earl Lane got nap time in the film room daily, I think thats bonus enough

Who are we talking about here? Miles? Buddy? Tommy from Olinde's?

In all honesty, I think it's a lose/lose situation. You keep these two clowns at DC and things will go wrong. They'll play about as good as the defense under a completely difference scheme that they've only practiced under for 2 weeks.

The right choice for DC >>> Peach Bowl win.

If he can't find the DC he wants, what's he supposed to do? Someone has to coach the team. It's not ideal, but I doubt many here want him to settle w/ this hire.

agreed, just hope it doesn't hurt recruiting for some of these kids to not know who their DC will be.
Then again, maybe we are waiting for one of the DCs in a bowl game to finish.

Miles is playing with fire.

The last things this wayward team needs is 2-3 weeks of lame duck bowl preparation where the defense knows the coaches have checked out and what they're giving them is the same stuff that hasn't worked all season.

I think Songy usually has pretty good info. He doesn't seem to go out on a limb like others in BR sports radio (and t.v.) have from time to time in the past.

On the flip side I think what he gets out is what the people in the LSU sports department want him to get out. It may or many not necessarily co-incide with what we are most interested in finding out.

Didnt Les get burned last year by waiting too long on a DC hire?

Could also mean
1)Tenuta can't or won't come until after ND's bowl game

2) He's looking at a guy in the NFL (Mel Tucker, george edwards)
