Not exactly a hot take. Texas has deep pockets.

Everybody sees this as a very plausible scenario. He isn't the only coach out there. LSU will be fine.

1. Wrong board
2. Texas firing Strong is not a guarantee
3. If Strong does get fired its not a guarantee Herman would accept
4. Herman is not the only good coach available

Does anyone think that maybe just maybe Herman doesn't want to put up with all the high roller boosters that make coaching at Texas a living nightmare. How do you think Saban turned that job down. All the money in the world wasn't enough to put up with that crap and Strong is now feeling it. Mack Brown was their whipping boy for so many years!

They said yesterday on College Football Live that Herman to LSU would be down right scary!

This has been well documented. We get it. There is still some support for Strong as of now. We will see how it plays out. Honestly, I dont even think Herman is Alleva's number one candidate. Prob should be.

I am wanting to see this as well. I've just searched Google with "Tom Herman dream job" and have not seen a single result where he is quoted saying "Texas is my dream job."

Now, there was one saying working at Ohio State was a dream job. And another saying being the offensive coordinator at Rice was his dream job.

Still striking out on Herman claiming Texas was his dream. Oh well, let that narrative continue.

Sounds great, but highly unlikely. Whether we like it or not, Texas is fill considered by most to be the premier job in CFB.

Not very stealthy if you ask me. Typically, you'd want to lurk for a few months (years) after signing up in order to be stealthy.
