Making $2.8m at Norte Dame, even if LSU doubles his salary they would still only be paying him $5.6m. That is a huge amount less than the numbers that many thought LSU would have to spend. Great coach at a bargain price....win,win.

He’s making more than that. Notre Dame doesn’t have to report the total because it’s a private college. He will probably make close to 10 million a year at LSU.
