Notre Dame is a bitch of a place to win now with academic restrictions. He’s consistently had them in the Top 10 and close to getting over the hump - at a school with inherit disadvantages.
With LSU athletes he’s going to do very well. Teams will be disciplined and consistent. He’s going to win here.

He’s a very good coach. There are factors outside of his coaching ability that are at play though.

I think it’s a great hire. He brings structure and discipline to the team. Something this team has been missing from a coach for a while. This is exactly what Sabin brought to Alabama and look how that turned out. Outstanding hire for this program
