Heard him on a national show earlier and he said he has a source with UCLA that said there are rumblings the AD will move on from Chip Kelly on 1/15, when his buyout drops to 1.5M.
AD didn't hire him and he said he wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

UCLA and USC have an uphill battle in that region/culture when it comes to football.

Sure, but how many coaches think that way. They want to be the best and beat the best.
Kelly had an easier road to 10 win seasons at ND.
Napier had easier jobs to pick from than Florida.
Coaches want to be the best, not coast to easy 10 win seasons.

Back in the day...usc vs ucla was a classic match up.
I always perceived ucla as a great big time school...
They've been off the radar much like LSU in the 90s...
Why couldn't they rise back to top 20?

I doubt lane leaves. But it would be nice to see lane and Riley out there making those schools good again. West coast football needs some juice.
