This is not sour grapes, I was melting pretty heavily last night.
But USC? That program is a dump that’s had 1 good coach in like 50 years.

I would've been excited but he certainly has red flags. Generally soft teams with no defense and his Baylor melt wasn't a good look.

Yea might be for the best, Lincoln looks like a complete pussy if he didn’t want ou in the sec. We also saw him cry like a girl from big bad Dave Aranda.

If people were asking why he would leave OU for LSU..then they certainly should wonder why leave for USC. They have an indifferent fan base ..the campus is in a horrible location..there program is on life support…etc etc. The only answer…he is scared of the SEC.

Really should've been trying to land the other coach in Oklahoma the whole time, the one that just bested Riley last night and has his team sitting at 11-1 with a chance to get to the playoffs.
Not sure why no one has kicked the tires on Gundy or gauged his interest, he was putting his name in the running for multiple other jobs a few years ago.
If I'm Woodward, I'm making a last minute all-out hail mary attempt at Gundy and seeing what happens

I was annihilated for saying that I thought LR hit his ceiling as a coach and hasn’t done much of anything to elevate the program beyond where Stoops had it.
Would it have been a great hire for LSU? Maybe, if athlete talent is truly what was holding back Riley at OU.
We may have dodged a bullet, but LSU will do the lazy thing and probably hire some jerk off already on staff. Or some terrible reach hire. Riley would certainly be better than either of those options.
Still hoping for Aranda, as I have since day 1.
