Friend of mine is in law school at LSU. DeeDee Breaux was a guest speaker in one of their classes but had to leave early cause she told em that the BOS called a meeting at 4:30

I’m sure they have special circumstances where they are required to meet during important times on short notice, like the firing or hiring of a coach.

Only for public meetings. They can convene privately whenever they like.
