I think he is waiting to see who Sark hires as the DC. I think he still ends up there.
But depending on how the chips fall (and it would take some major chips to fall), I wouldn't be totally surprised to see Bo end up back at Bama.

The League office was strongly against Tubby leaving O.Miss for AU but had no way to stop him. All that they could do then, and now, was to recommend against it. Presuming that if Bo had a show cause, it has expired by now.

If Bo believes that LSU is getting Freeman and perhaps Joesph..
That might be a fun crew to ride with for a couple years. Recruiting/coaching would be pretty fun defensively. Just sayin!

I agree with you. I didn’t expect a quick answer but longer it sits worse the feeling I get. From other reports I read he has turned down higher paying gigs in the past, but maybe he wants to stay in college.
Doesn’t seem like the kind to chase money. He’s got it pretty good where he is too. Fickell is his kids godfather. Would pretty much be in line to take over when/if Fickell does leave. His system is in place and doesn’t have to worry as much about covid cancelling spring practice.
I believe These new coaches are fighting an uphill battle not being able to get on the field. But only one guy knows what it will take to motivate him to take a new job. Hope he does decide to come. Seems to check every box you could have.

I'm pretty sure the "SEC office scuttled bo davis-to-LSU" is just made up by conspiracy theorists on this board. I haven't seen a single actual source that said that. If you google "Bo Davis LSU SEC Office" the only results are from tiger droppings lol.
