What if the administration learned from last year and knowing that people need some type of info they are leaking false data.

This is not a knock on the posters, it just could be the source of all this info is putting out smoke while the "real plan" is being worked....

Then again Aleva and the boosters could all be a bunch of idiots who didn't learn crap from last year's mess!!

can you name the coach who had this resume (and yes this is all of it) before getting his first HC job?

Western Kentucky (1994–2001) (unpaid assistant)
Oakland Raiders (2002–2003) (QB coach)

Dude. Harbaugh was in the NFL as a PLAYER until 2000. He was an "unpaid" assistant for Western Kentucky b/c his DAD was the head coach so being NCAA certified allowed him to help out in off season on his DAD's team.

He coached exactly 2 years (2002 - 2003 as QB coach at the Raiders) before he got his first HC job.

Come on man.

I could see that, I mean the last few updates on here and no mention of Herman/Jimbo at all. Would be great if they learned their lesson from last year but somehow I doubt it.

And note...he didn't jump to a major program for his 1st HC job.

Nope. Proved himself for 3 seasons first.

You don't have to be an insider to see that the LSU administration wants to hire O.It is really sad. They fire Les, the most successful LSU coach in history numbers wise, twice only to hire his defensive line coach as the head coach. O was a failure his only time he was a head coach and was being pursued by no one else to be their head coach. This is truly Louisiana Nepotism at its finest.

Could be legit. I mean this thread is not at all being candid.

I'm not convinced of that based on what is very likely just deliberate misinformation.

why are you telling me all this? im the one who linked it, obviously i know his history.

my only point is that Harbaugh, despite his extensive experience on offense, never called plays and was never an OC before his first HC job. he'd be more in the Dabo mold than the Saban one.

It was during a time when the SEC overall in terms of coaching wasn't exactly at its strongest.

And of course Lsu wants Orgeron. He's the cheapest coach they can get and if he fails fans can't get mad at administration because their dumbass wanted him too. It's a win win for them

Not what I meant or said, Random could given misleading info. He could be passing along info from trusted sources.

If I was Aleva, I wouldn't tell anyone I didn't have too. What's more important...... getting this hire right or giving people inside info that can derail your process? You can be misleading or point people in a direction opposite the plan you are working. The right hire will mend all the broken egos who were misled.

But then again...... Aleva could be screwing the pooch like last year.

My take is that Aleva is going to cave to whatever they think the fans want.

I think Aleva reads this board and it directly impacted how he played the UForfeit situation. He knows how much he is disliked after the Miles fiasco and is doing everything to get back in the fans' good graces.

If the fans want O, he'll give em to them...
