Easy. They need this to happen so they can justify wanting to hire Orgeron.

either Art Briles or Sark... Kiffen would not make a lateral move on a guy that help revamp his career... and Sark prob wouldnt either now that he will be the OC when Kiffen takes a head job somewhere...

How long would that staff stay together? Aranda and Kiffin as primed for HC jobs.

Would you sacrifice their short time for a natty or 2?

id prefer he'd stay, but if he cant bring in Dylan (his cousin), I wont be heartbroken if he left. our DBs are talented as hell but not especially well coached, imo.

The only reason Kiffin may even consider leaving alabama because he may be tired of the "arse chewings" he receives from saban

Kiffin coming to LSU is something that would give LSU fans hope for a better offensive output and so they're clinging to the possibility of it happening, regardless of how remote that possibility is. Human nature, bruh.

My "hope" would be jimbo fisher and the defensive staff stays together. Kiffin isn't a part of my hope.

However, I'm not on a bama board expressing why I think Kiffin is going to leave or not leave bama.

That type of behavior can be construed as concern/hope it doesn't.

I just find it interesting that these people feel kiffin has rehabbed his career by being an oc at bama and his next step is h.c again. However, ogeron took over USC when Kiffin was fired, performed better as the h.c., now he is in another stint and performing well. Kiffin failed twice as hc. Ogeron once. So the guy that showed improvement is less of a candidate than the one who failed twice. Fascinating!

Well, that's some in depth analysis right there.

You Really think with Coach O having coached under P Carol, Jimmy Johnson, Sean Payton, les miles, etc he doesn't have contacts, resources, or knowledge to assemble a staff and bring valuable knowledge to the defensive side of the ball.l?

In a lot of cases the defensive line is as valuable as the qb. Look at bama. Their d line has been more valuable than their qb for three years now.

You really think all he does is cheer? That's like me saying all Herman does is smooch on his players. Come on, man. You are better than that.
