He was a bad AD at Ole Miss too. I don’t know why A&M hired him when Woodward left. Matt Luke was never going to be the answer for Ole Miss, yet…

My jaw dropped when he was hired at A&M from ole miss. He was terrible there and handle an NCAA investigation about as bad as you could

He has done well hiring non-football coaches but this was clearly above his head. He claims to be the one who made the case for firing Jimbo but then comes to the BOR with Stoops as the solution, likely also requiring $9+M a year? Common sense should have told him that was idiotic

What coaches has he hired that’s done good? I honestly don’t know or remember hearing A&M win squat since you’ve joined the conf at conf or national level. Arkansas wins more SEC & National championships in other sports than A&M. That’s terrible for A&M.

I really believe that A&M (really the whole state of Texas) LIKES being weird. If there is something that can be done/said/shown that will make people stop, look, and just shake their head in disbelief .... A&M will embrace it and call it "tradition".

Texas syndrome is a real thing where people think they’re better than others simply because they’re in Texas. shite they want to leave the states and start their own country yet not tough enough to control the illegal migrants who invade their state and affect them.
They think there is an infinite amount of money to piss away but the can’t even win their division in football after 300 mil stadium upgrade, facilities upgrade and 75 mil for a guy to sit at home. Fisher had a .800+ record at FSU and still couldn’t do it there.

This, it’s up there with failed nfl coach as the worse you do the more opportunities you get.
Joe Alleva shouldn’t have been an athletic director after what he managed to do at Duke, yet he fell way up to be LSU AD.
It’s like the big boosters all want their easy to control fall guy.

Had the same thought. Also, Woodward catches a lot of shite from us(overpaying for coaches, etc) however he is a strong leader and won't take a lot of meddling from boosters or the BOS. Bjork, on the other hand is a pushover and is why you end up hiring mid tier coaches in major sports(see Freeze and Kermit Davis at Ole Miss)

He’s won more natties the last few years than A&M has won anything of significance. I honestly don’t know what Aggy best accomplishment is since joining.

Went to Omaha in Schloss’ first year. We’ll see this year but looking pretty damn good in basketball. Absolutely no one in Aggieland upset about either of those coaches.
