"Knows La. recruiting"? Can he recruit in Ga., Calif. Maryland, Ohio, Fla. Alabama, etc etc.? All states that LSU has had success in recruiting. "Next Saban"? No such animal exists.

Napier spent 5 total years at Alabama under Saban in two stints, and 4 total years at Clemson under Dabo. He is a string offensive minded coach. has been a OC and a QB coach. Throw in time at Arizona State, and Colorado State gives him more perspective. He’s gonna win his conference for the 3rd straight year.
He’s coached in 12 bowl games,
a BCS National title game,
2 SEC championship games,
3 Sunbelt Conference championship games,
2 playoff games,
2 national title games.
