I'm not sure even hunter could have drawn out the rantards this well. Well done CC.
Thanks bud. Biggest success I've had since the "Do LSU players on get injured in close games?" thread.

He can make a lot more money at Texas.
So could Saban.
I don't see Miles going back to the Big XII. Most Texas fans think he's an idiot, regardless of how much he wins. They refuse to admit that he's a much better coach than people give him credit for.
Texas fans can be as delusional as Bama fans, so Saban could be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Of course, the Big XII is a much weaker conference, so as long as he beat OU, Texas fans would be happy.
Then there's the family thing. Are Saban's kids all in college? I've heard more than once that Terry Saban is not a fan of Tuscaloosa, so a move might be something she'd welcome.

I believe his daughter is a student at UA, but his son is past college age. Not 100% certain though. As far as Terry, I've heard the opposite, but all of that is pretty much hearsay.

Add another one to the list. I should have kept count.

I have no problem with the idea that Texas or Florida is an objectively better job than LSU but what makes Bama fans think Bama is a better job than LSU? Or as good of a job as Florida or Texas?

I think he was referring to Les' positive, in-your-corner mentality. The only thing is I don't think Les would publicly throw his assistants under the bus like Mack did last year.

Never say never. We've learned that the man has no limits to what he will do for an extra $100 a year.

I honestly don't know enough about these matters to give you a good response. I was just simply relaying what Liucci said on the radio. If I had to guess, I would say the tradition and prestige of the job is a factor. Even though we all know Bear Bryant passed on years ago, lot of coaches around Saban's age grew up watching him.

I've seen enough of your previous posts to know you're dumb as a brick, so I'm not really going to argue with you.
should I post my prediction the first time we played bama? or should I post my preseason predictions. That's what I thought. Go back to listening to Finebaum and hanging out with your leader Harvey!!!

Yes, because predictions are a direct reflection of someone's intelligence level.

I don't know, who? I'm just reporting what was said a few moments ago.
The insecurity is based on the fact that the topic is even being discussed on F-baum.

and yet no one has more tradition than Notre Dame and few have as much tradition as Tennessee, but most people outside of those fanbases do not seem them as a top job anymore
Meyer could have chosen Notre Dame, he went to Florida because it is a much better job
Kiffie left UT for USC because it is a much better job
I think Southerners (esp from Alabama) would generally be shocked to realize how little of a Q rating Bear Bryant really has outside of a few states.
