Billy Liucci says no way Texas can pull Saban from BAMA

Billy Liucci of texags.com was just on Finebaum. When asked about the rumors of Saban to Texas, he said "Texas is a powerhouse who can get just about any coach they want, but not Saban. Not from Alabama." He then went on to say if Mack Brown were to retire, they would probably go after Chris Peterson, or Les Miles.

Miles would be crazy to leave LSU in my opinion. Why deal with Texas when he's showing you can win just as big at LSU?

I don't know, who? I'm just reporting what was said a few moments ago.

He can make a lot more money at Texas.

I could see Les Miles to Texas
Les has a lot of Mack Brown to him and his style
It could be the one job that would make him leave late in his career if he doesn't want to slug it out in the rugged SEC west
He wouldn't have to leave the state of Texas to recruit
I'm guessing Mack Brown goes one more year and then hangs it up

this is your problem right here. You are getting nervous. Saban is leaving that terrible program and going to texas. Can't wait till Les Miles beats saban in Texas too

Serious question, not a flame: why could Texas have almost any coach, but not Saban?

Why would the guy who runs a TAMU website have any credibility to who UT would look at? IMO I think he may be right about Peterson but I dont think he knows anything other than what the posters in this thread know.

It would seem that some LSU fans are, for some strange reason. It makes no sense, considering what Miles has built at LSU, but we continue to see baseless rumors posted time and time again about Nick Saban. You certainly don't see Alabama fans using energy to post coaching move flames about Les Miles.

Does Alabama have enough to match a $10 mil/yr salary?

That's actually very similar to what he was saying. He didn't get into the depth of Les being similar to Mack, but he said if he had to guess, he would say Mack probably has at least another year in him.

If Miles wouldn't leave for Michigan ain't no way he's leaving to UT.

I've seen enough of your previous posts to know you're dumb as a brick, so I'm not really going to argue with you.

I'll give you a few hints.
1. They live east of Mississippi, south of Tennessee, west of Georgia, and north of the Gulf of Mexico.
2. They are football fans of the Flagship of "God's Country".
3. They are, in general, fat.
4. They have way less than 28 teeth in their mouth.

For 10 mil a year they might as well hire belichick as HC, Saban as DC, and Meyer as OC.
Don't be stupid, no university will be paying that amount of money for a single coach for a long long time.
