I have 3 and just wild guesses but feasible when you think about it.

1. Jim Harbaugh to the Houston Texans with Steve Mariucci to Stanford.

2. Larry Fedora to Michigan State with Dantonio resigning due to health. Southern gets Paul Petrino.

3. Gary Kubiak goes to Texas as OC and becomes HCIW.

I really hope not and have a hard time seeing it.

I could see Kubiak as HC of Tejas, I know he went to aTm but Sherman has proved you can make that "jump" and Kubiak would be an easy sell since he was in charge of NFL Team based in Housotn.

1. Harbaugh goes to Carolina, and drafts Luck.
2. If not, he goes to SF

Yeah, I guess the thing I have a hard time seeing is the OC/HCIW thing.

Do you think that Texas will abandon the HCIW thing? The last one did not work out too well for them.

I'm not sure the HCIW thing is ever a good idea. It only makes sense to me when the current HC is a veteran who has a clear retirement time frame in mind and is in sync with the AD and the HCIW. I can't think of a situation where that's been the case.

I think that it is going to work at Florida State. But the Admin. had to force Bowden out. I think that Florida State is going to be very good under Jimbo. Someone referred to them as a beast lurking in the bushes right now.

HCIW get fewer visits than regular assistants now so i doubt we ever see a HCIW again.

Kubiak isn't going anywhere. The Texans are the 10th most valuable franchise in all of sports as is, so why spend money to 1) buy out Kubiak's and his assistant's contracts 2) make a splash hire like Harbaugh?

Ideally though, Kubiak will be hired away from Houston by Denver, McNair allows for it to happen and then breaks the bank for Cowher. It's a dream.

Terry Bradshaw takes a stab at being LSU's QB coach. After a long shoot-the-shite about good ol Steelers days and comparing superbowl rings, Alan Faneca decides to come along for the ride. Zach Mettenberger breaks LSU single season passing yds/TD's record and Ford/Ware become dual 1000 yd rushers in 2012.

Mike Ditka comes out of retirement and becomes the head corch at San Diego. He then beats the Hell out of Rivers, calls McMahon and ask him to come back as his QB. McMahon agrees but only if Singletary agrees to be San Diego's DC. MS agrees, leaving SF without a HC.

So the new HC of SF is:

Jim Harbaugh

If Michigan State opened up and Mooch wanted back into coaching, why wouldn't he just go to East Lansing?
