Why bag on some kids? That's just stupid. Our current players aren't pussies. They are behind the 8 ball in talent and in coaching, but for the most part they try their asses off.

Grow up.

Bielema never fielded a 'Sconsin team with a pulse in the passing game until he was able to rent Russell Wilson for a year.

Let's also not get carried away...He hasn't exactly torn the Big 10 up lately. Also embarrassed them by losing to TCU in the Rose Bowl a year or two ago.

Is Knile Davis coming back?

Could have a big year in that run heavy offense.

To be fair, that TCU team was pretty legit.

It doesn't matter how good a coach you are in the SEC if you can't recruit. This guy has no experience covering the South, or even more important for Arky, Texas. If he doesn't hit a grand slam with his staff, he could be a total disaster in the SEC. However, with the right staff and the right players brought in, could be very solid.

Take a look at the league right now. Two teams play power, or at least "balanced" football- Bama and LSU. They do it because they can. Because they recruit the kinds of O and D lines that can sustain that style. Can Arkansas pull this off with their current recruiting base? To play a power or balanced O, you have to have a matching D. It's all about whether Bielema can pull this off quickly. He won't have 3-5 years to get things settled.

He will recruit just fine. How many poverty 3 star lineman did he put into the NFL? He has some selling points. He will get some big bodies who want to play under him. No one Arkansas hired was going to out recruit Bama or Lsu anyways.

completely agree. im not saying this guy cant win 9 games a year, beating everyone you should and maybe an upset every other year ala merlins @ moo st. im saying i dont think hes the caliber to push teams out of his way and be a mainstay at the top of the SEC west.
