Over the last couple years only Oklahoma , Ohio State ,and Alabama have had a better run than the Cajuns.

Specifically, they said that over the last 31 games, ULL is 27-4 and only Bama, OSU, and OU had better records.

Compare and contrast ULL's schedule compared to Bama's, OU, and Ohio State over the last 31 games. ULL can't even win it's own Conference Championship Game.

The meltdown will be glorious. Best part is that it's even pretty likely. Penn State insiders heavily implied that Franklin used the LSU and USC interest to get facilities he wanted built so he's probably not leaving. Riley+Tomlin is just lol (though obviously you smash them the offer sheet if they say yes). Fickell by all accounts is waiting for one of Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, or Notre Dame to open up. By this point we're past the coaches who are most likely better than Napier.

They lost the Championship game on the road @ App State in 2019 and there was no championship game in 2020 due to Covid. I believe they were declared Co-champs. So they are 0-1 in road championship games the last two years.

Some of you idiots try to knock Napier because he coaches at UL and completely discount EVERY other aspect associated with major college football. You see UL and then try to compare his results there to that of others schools. Reality is that these comparisons are fricking stupid. Small minded people are the ones who see the school and ignore what he’s actually done.
He’s not even my first choice, but you clowns with all this bull shite about “one of us” or “see, UL sucks!” Are more ignorant than the clowns that pushed for O in the first place.

It's got nothing to do with resources. It's the f'ing Sunbelt Conference. If you're a 4/5 Star are you really going to chuck the opportunity to play major college football, and play for a bunch of nobody's in Lafayette?

That was actually the dumbest thing the announcer said all night. This is a terrible stat. Opponents aren’t comparable. You could insert a huge amount of teams into ULL’s schedule and the results would be the same. Compare ULL’s success to other G5 teams and then the stat makes sense. Appreciate ULL’s success but keep it in perspective.
