Just seeing Freeman went to ND. Any word on why Freeman went to Notre Dame? He was LSUs top target I thought?

He and his wife took one look at BR and thought it was a third-world country so they didn't want to raise their kids over here.

Although a great candidate, it was a long shot at best to get a guy that played & has only coached in the Midwest.

Wasn’t meant to be, on to the next guy.

I am guessing it made more sense to go to ND than to risk getting fired or have to look for another job when ND was the one that is a safer job security as a DC or get a HC in a year or two after ND.

that. Or some guys are just "regional". Left coast cats don't leave the PAC unless they have to. We see it all the time in the SEC. Freeman is a upper midwest (as to differentiate from the lower midwest of your MO and those R-kansans) guy born and bred.

He may just be one of those guys and the cost to pull him too damn high.

In my travels the streak is strongest in the upper midwest people too. More than southerners, more than new englanders. No one hates "team SEC" more than those B1G fans.

I’ve also been out of pocket. What happened with that presidential election? Also, why haven’t we heard from Kobe Bryant for a while?

Never been there but I wouldn't doubt it. Hard to imagine it's worse than BR though.
