quote:

One source told me late last night that big money folks have absolutely mobilized on Dooley in the past 3 days. They’ve lost confidence in UT’s Head Coach and his ability to lead going forward. In fact, it is believed by one person I trust at UT that it's not out of the question that Dave Hart makes a change.

quote:

I was told that Dave Hart is taking notice and some on the scene feel like Hart is going to clean this up one way or the other. Either Dooley makes changes and changes the way he does things or he's going to walk. And believe me, he could walk. It is within the realm of possibility.

quote:

Charlie Baggett told a source of mine in the athletic department that he's literally never seen anything worse than Dooley's organizational skills behind the scenes. In fact, he said it's the most disorganized, chaotic outfit in football he's ever seen.

Tennessee's staff, many of whom were scattered around the Southeast found out the Baggett news with friends calling them. Not a press release. Or even a call from their head coach. Dooley's staff found out from friends and media reports.

quote:

The pressure is really intense on Hart right now and he just got here. It's not his guy. So, at this point, all bets are off.

quote:

Tennessee is exploring the possibility of moving Henshaw to WR's coach. The plan right now is for UT to make a run at South Carolina's Jay Graham and bring the former Vol great back as running backs coach.

I guess Dooley will be on Saban's staff again sooner than I thought.

We could use him!

I still think this is the wrong move for TN. I think he would win big in the future.

I think it would hurt Tennessee more than it would help them if they fired Dooley now.

Agreed. UT boosters need to shut up say they are behind him let him pull in another good class then can him next year, drop him now you have another major gap in depth that opens up due to stupidity.

Wow.

UT fans take notice - sanctions and probation almost crippled Alabama, but the coaching circus almost killed it.

Coaching continuity or lack thereof can kill.

The period between Stallings and Saban was a nightmare.

Basilio is a know nothing, that's for sure. His blog is entertaining though. Remember when Lovie Smith was on the jet?

This is NOT a good offseason to change coaches. UT needs to keep Dooley and see if things are better next year.

You guys need to calm the frick down.

Focus on the bowl.....wait.

Focus on the offseason recruiting and wait until Dooley has some Tuna in the cupboard to accompany the package of Ramen that has been there since he arrived.

Not a VOl fan but I feel for their situation. Kiffin should have been sanctioned by the NCAA for the way he harmed the Tennessee program.

Dooley is in a tough spot but I think UT should give him one more year to prove himself.

My sources tell me that Miles, Saban, GUS BUS, Petrino, the flagship, have all decided to come to coach Tennessee to make a super staff.

TIFWIW.
