That's because you Bama fans are too busy with Saban's dick down your throat.

And Cristobal and Napier were actively pursued and considered options at one point in time

I'd rather have harsin than steele, but he's not better than some of the other names auburn actively pursued

Just because you don't get your first option doesn't mean the coach you get is shite

This is a sneaky good hire IMO.

And I’m not one to compliment other SEC teams easily.

And don’t know if it was planned this way or not, but leaking Steele early and settings expectations low is going to make for some very excited Auburn fans.

No, I don't.

I watch SEC and the major schools and that's about it.

What are you retards laughing about? This is a grand slam for AU. They got an excellent coach.

A grand slam? What would Napier, Kiffin Freeze, Clark, etc. be?

A grand salami?

Boise fans on Twitter seem pretty happy...

A strong indictment on football intelligence from people in from the Northwest. I'm from Boise.

This is an excellent hire if college football were more similar to the NFL however as UT fans can't figure out it's about more than coaching and X&Os. If he gets a huge Malzahn buyout it would be better in the long run because his recruiting prowess could take a few years.

Cringe. Looks like they should’ve been hired by SMU.

This. The obsession with “big names” is dumb. Seems the big names fail at the new school as often as they succeed, if not more.
